In 2023, two vital parts of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee celebrated major anniversaries.

70 YEARS OF CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

The Tennessee YMCA Center for Civic Engagement marked the 70th anniversary of its Youth in Government program in the state. Throughout its long history, the program has provided invaluable lessons in civic engagement and leadership while inspiring many of them to pursue a career in public service.

50 YEARS SERVING NORTHWEST NASHVILLE

The Northwest Family YMCA celebrated 50 years of service to its community. What began in an old building that needed some love was transformed by its community into a place where kids grow up healthy and happy and everyone feels like family.
